Esperance Who's Who
Public Profile

Goethe-Institut
We connect people all over the world. As a cultural institution of the Federal Republic of Germany, we promote cultural exchange, education and societal discourse in an international context, and support the teaching and learning of the German language. Together with our partners, we focus on global opportunities and challenges, bringing different perspectives into a dialogue that is based in trust. We regard the ability to listen and to reflect as the key to understanding. We are bound by principles of transparency, diversity and sustainability. These principles characterise our services and our way of working.

Distinguished and Famous people from Esperance
🎨 Cindy Poole
Glass artist Cindy Poole established her Esperance business in 1995, beginning with handmade picture frames and developing a practice spanning jewellery, sculpture and architectural work. Her studio and gallery became the base for experiments with kiln-fired glass, colour and recycled materials. Landscape and personal experience have supplied subjects, while discarded bottles offered another direction for making. Her own account describes a career that grew from a small family tribute into a sustained creative enterprise, with Esperance remaining its working home.
